Roleplay on poem Pulley by George Herbert.

This activity is interesting and engaging to students as it requires pair work, group work to do role plays. It improves interpersonal, intrapersonal, visual-spatial, and kinesthetic intelligence.

The teacher enters a classroom and builds up with good rapport and motivates to do role play to bring the title from the students. After she teaches about the poet, poem and explains the pulley the poem is a myth of origins and a moral and spiritual fable. It's all about the relation between God and his creation of man. God is the father and this pulley to pull the man back to him and keep him good.

Loud reading, silent reading of the poem by the students. Students find out figures of speech, theme, a summary of the poem – Pulley and develop critical thinking. Few students present above the topics in the class and all the students write all these topics of the poem write and submit to the teacher. Teacher asses individually.
